Bring the entire family and help us celebrate Independence Day at the San Juan Capistrano Sports Park.

"The Trip" will perform classic rock tunes on stage from 6:30 - 8:45pm. Fireworks begin at 9:00pm. There will be an opportunity to purchase food at the concession stand. No entrance fee and free parking.

Mission SJC Inspiring Performances Series

Second Saturday Art Fair

This juried monthly art fair showcases 50 talented artists, craftspeople and musicians. The show is located in historic downtown SJC on Camino Capistrano, Yorba, & Los Rios Streets.

Barbershop Harmony Society Meeting

Anywhere from 20 to 40 men gather every Monday at 7 pm to learn how to 'ring chords' and make great four-part harmony. Generally familiar to those attending, the songs are great to listen to for guests and 'listening'loos' who are welcome to drop in.

Belonging to the International Barbershop Harmony Society, the San Clemente Chapter is seeking new members and is rapidly becoming a part of the vibrant San Clemente arts scene.

In the previous 12 seasons the Camino Real Playhouse has presented nearly 100 full scale productions including 11 Show Off playwriting festivals and 16 Shakespeare Under the Stars productions.

Living History Day
Take a step back in time and experience the romance of the Mission! Individuals portrayed, include Native Americans, founding padres, Soldiers or Leather jackets, Weavers and Gold Miners. For many years, the Living History Society has helped history come alive for visitors to the Mission. This group of dedicated volunteers, entertain adults and children of all ages, while sharing their love of history through the characters they portray.

Second Saturday of each month 11:00 am - 3:00 PM Authentic demonstrations and costumes. Free with Mission entrance.

San Juan Capistrano Architectural Walking Tour
Architecture buffs may want to sign up for a walk through 200 years of architecture in the city. The walkincludes adobes, Spanish-era dwellings and streamlined modern building s covers about a mile on level ground and lasts 90 minutes.

A donation of $5 per person is requested. All proceeds support the Friends of the Library. Prospective walkers should call 949-489-0736, and meet at the train depot on Verdugo Street in San Juan Capistrano at 10 AM on Saturday.

Walk of Faith Church Hymn Sing Potluck

We will sing together in four parts the Hymn of the Month and share our memory verses. Be sure to bring something to share for the potluck, just in case the nourishment from God doesn't completely fill you up.

Camino Real Playhouse presents: "You May be the Jury "
June 12-20, 2009

Ayn Rand's compelling courtroom drama where the fate of defendant, Karen Andre rests in the hands of you, the jury. Each night, 12 members of the audience will be randomly selected by the Court Clerk to take their place onstage in the jury box. Nobody (not even the cast) knows the outcome of this murder trial until the very last moment.
