Green Feast 2016

From all over Southern California, organic farmers, fishermen, wine makers and renowned chefs will contribute their expertise to serve up The Ecology Center’s ninth annual Green Feast.

The evening begins with a stroll through our gardens, where guests will taste a variety of appetizers freshly prepared by local chefs. As the sun sets, a four-course dinner will follow, served on long tables dressed in white linens and candles, set up communal-style. The evening culminates in a lively auction in support of The Ecology Center's educational programming, including Grow Your Own! a school and home garden initiative.

Anywhere from 20 to 40 men gather every Monday at 7 pm to learn how to 'ring chords' and make great four-part harmony. Generally familiar to those attending, the songs are great to listen to for guests and 'listening'loos' who are welcome to drop in.

Belonging to the International Barbershop Harmony Society, the San Clemente Chapter is seeking new members and is rapidly becoming a part of the vibrant San Clemente arts scene.

In the previous 12 seasons the Camino Real Playhouse has presented nearly 100 full scale productions including 11 Show Off playwriting festivals and 16 Shakespeare Under the Stars productions.

San Juan Capistrano Architectural Walking Tour
Architecture buffs may want to sign up for a walk through 200 years of architecture in the city. The walk includes adobes, Spanish-era dwellings and streamlined modern building s covers about a mile on level ground and lasts 90 minutes.

A donation of $5 per person is requested. All proceeds support the Friends of the Library. Prospective walkers should call 949-489-0736, and meet at the train depot on Verdugo Street in San Juan Capistrano at 10 AM on Saturday.

Multicultural Art Series

Multicultural Arts Series (MAS) is OC's internationally diverse concert series – a summer-long festival of world-class music. This cultural arts program started in 1989 in this elegant and intimate courtyard designed by the world-renowned Michael Graves.

Concert times are 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. (unless otherwise noted). Performances last about one hour.

J.F. Shea Therapeutic Riding Center Annual County BBQ

Over 1500 attendees attend this traditional family barbecue in a casual setting featuring live country western entertainment, activities for children, live and silent auctions and riding demonstrations throughout the evening. All proceeds benefit the programs of the J.F. Shea Therapeutic Riding Center dedicated to improving the lives of persons with disabilities through horsemanship.
